Elementary shopping

I left my studio in an aftrernoon in Sebtember 1793 and came back home yesterday ! For a modest shopping. You might think, I exagerate. A grissin two grapefruits an a scarf. The grissino weighed about 150 kg. They even called it a david, but I immediately recognized that it was a grissino.

 And in this fall Toulon was assaulted by several troups. On my way home after the shopping, at every crossing of two pathes there was a check point : I had to show the caddy registration document, they asked me for the maiden name of my mother... Briefly: it was long. I got back yesterday.

After a long break of my eposing activities due  to the pandemic in course I have been inviçted by Michele Chiarlo, a famous wine-producer in Piedmont, 50 km north of Genova tto epoce in his spolendid wine-cellars in his project "ART in the vineyard".

The atmosphere? I do not intend to deepen my considerations about the one , icy, that reigns between me and my neighbour of the floor above, nor the one, otherwise tense between me and the boss of the supermarket at the right-hand side, who is incapable of parking his car without occupuying at least a space and a half, I let you immagine where precisely. Nor the convivial atmosphere between me and the physiotherapist on my left-hand side who has moved to centre-town some days ago.

No, in this case I focalize on items that, maybe, are not less real, but certainely much more enduring: atmospheric phenomenons. Clouds, winds, haiol, lightnings, volcano eruptions a.s.f.

I'm sorry, three seconds and I'll be back (my neighbour, after having parked rather approxymately, didn't turn off the engine)!

Exposition Thomas Zindel  "le linge même"

30 travaux sur papier

pendant tout le mois de juillet 2023 /  vernissage en présence de l'artiste le dimanche 2 juillet à 16 h

J'ai connu Thomas Zindel en 1979. Nous sommes entrés la même année dans l'école des arts appliqués à Zurich pour nos premières études des arts plastiques. Depuis il n'a cessé de s'appliquer soit come peintre, soit en collaborant et coproduisant des projets de théatre, des installations de grandes dimensions, soit des évenements performatifs.

Au mois de juillet il présentera une trentaine de ses travaux récents sur papier de petit format dans mon atelier.
